Batman Beyond

I've always seemed to be in the minority here, but Batman Beyond was both the first Batman animated series I really paid attention to and my favorite overall when compared to the other incarnations over the years. I loved the future-esque feel of the show, the new onslaught of villains and the full length animated film about the Joker's return was fantastic. It, unfortunately, got about the same treatment that most other good animated shows in the 90's got and was cut terribly short (If I remember right, it was a mere 2 seasons).

Always the case. Gargoyles being another and disney refuse to release the later episodes on DVD, because the first two didn't sell enough.
